My first short and illustrated story will be about our trip to Vaihingen, Germany, among Mary and Albert, also known as "Oma" and "Opa". Nikola still remembers fondly the opening of gifts, the strolls in the nearby parks and playing with the authentic doll house she received among other wonderful Christmas gifts!

Nikola was the official gift unwrapper. She tore apart all the wrappings, including the few ones that were not for her (and to this day she still practices this skill with extreme pleasure, with everything that we tell her is a gift).

She was also given the opportunity to practice stairs climbing, which she eventually mastered on her own. At the end of our stay, she was able to disappear completely... only to be found on another floor. Posted by Picasa
